The shares of Lykis Limited opened at Rs 53 on Tuesday and climbed 3.7 per cent to reach its new 52-week high of Rs 55.10. The stock has zoomed by more than 45 per cent in the past five days.
Ace investor Vijay Kedia holds 18,07,911 shares which makes up a 9.33 per cent stake in the company with an investment value of Rs 9.8 crores as per the latest filing.
The stock started rallying on August 23rd when its price was Rs 28.35 a piece on BSE and has climbed up to the current levels, logging a return of approximately 95 per cent in just 11 trading sessions.
If an investor would have invested Rs 1 lakh in the company on that date their investment would be worth Rs 1.95 lakhs in just 15 days.
So far in 2022, the stock has been volatile and has delivered a return of 35 per cent. In a year the stock has zoomed by approximately 83 per cent. The stock reached its all-time high of Rs 103 in December 2015. It is currently trading at a discount of 46 per cent from the high.
In Q1FY23, the company earned a total revenue of Rs 86.25 crores up from Rs 63.27 Crores which it earned in the same quarter a year prior. Their net profit stood at Rs 89 lakhs as compared to Rs 2.5 crores which it earned in Q1FY22.
Lykis Ltd offers a range of FMCG and personal care products. The company manufactures the products and provides end-to-end solutions for private labelling. It exports to more than 50 countries.
The company has a market capitalization of Rs 106 crores and the promoters hold a 68.98 per cent stake with zero shares pledged.
